All the thresholds and values presented were adjusted considering the statistics of 20 pictures from the databases. It must be pointed out that the database images have different sizes: Vision Caltech 1999 are 896x592, Vision Caltech 2001 are 360x240, while the Computer Vision Laboratory at UCSD are 640x480.

In Figure here is the result of the license plate detector, for a window of size 125x61
